به منظور ایمنی زیستی و کاهش اثرات سموم شیمیایی برای اولین بار در ایران استفاده از قارچ لکانیسیلیوم موسکاریوم و عصاره آبی انغوزه برای کنترل بیولوژیک تعدادی از آفات کلیدی که سالانه خسارات زیادی به محصولات وارد می کنند، صورت گرفت. سویه kb512 قارچ لکانیسیلیوم موسکاریوم از ایزوله های بومی استان جدا و شناسایی شد و تست های آلوده سازی، با اسپری مستقیم بر روی دو آفات مهم دنیا شته اقاقیا افیس فابا و مگس سفید بمیزیا تاباسی صورت گرفت. تست های آلوده سازی با استفاده از تلقیح 108×1 کنیدی بر میلی لیتر انجام شد و نمونه کنترل با 01/0 درصد توین80 در آب مقطر، اسپری شد. بعد از اسپری کردن پلیت ها در انکوباتور با دما 1±25 درجه سانتی گراد و 80 درصد رطوبت نسبی rh قرار داده شدند. حشرات تست شده هر روز برای ردیابی رشد قارچ بروی آنها بررسی می شوند بعد از 9 و 7 و 5 روز، درصد مرگ ومیر با غلظت 108×1 گزارش شد . نتایج نشان دادند که کنترل بیولوژیکی آفات هدف به خوبی صورت گرفت.
